Slow motion was obtained by recording at very slow game speeds, much slower than IL-2 1946.
And you turned self shadowing off because? I am sure a lot of us like to know.

Thank's for telling me this csThor. It's really good to know.

Shadows were turned down.

Sometimes vulnerability was off, realistic gunnery off, etc. just to make it easier to capture the desired situation.

The movie was made in full HD mode at 25fps

I don't know about any of you other guys, but I got cold chills at the end of the London vid.

Amazing.

Thank you Oleg.

vids are AWESOME. Thanks to the team. COD will set a new standard.

With that in mind, random lights on/off of the windows onn the buildings (not all of them all) would improve this thing 0,000001%.

But there is always room for improvement despite de "AWESOMENESS" of what we have watched.

Default oi! put that light out!

..... shouts the ARP warden; I would think during all this period of the war blackouts were a (legal?) requirement, but the lit 0-100% feature is useful for movie makers

They are 'synthetic', so said Oleg (they didn't have the money and time to fly their sound engineer to record real Merlins). Instead they edited the existing sounds they recorded from another plane.

So the question should go - how close are they to the real thing?

I found the composition of the score quite effective. Chapeau to Mr. Lyubimov.
I look forward to just cruising about London sight seeing: chasing down famous double decker buses, buzzing through the train platforms and balloon busting. Let's hope the damage model for the buses is as good as the Stukas!

Brill bit of work boys.

FLYING COLANDER

(Aviation geek comment: wasn't British ack-ack fire famously white while German was black? FYI: minute 1:32 on video one.)

So I hope you're saying that with realistic gunnery enabled the bombers will not be so easily flammable against 0.303s Even in the one of the last videos I remember multiple Stukas inflame with a small burst and I cried "WTF"!!

I admit I'm really scared from what I've seen in this video (in term of DM).

Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.
