Maybe, but a compulsory internet connection means depending on ubi servers, wich are not known for their reliability really.

I sometimes have too much time on my hands.....I have a permanent connection, I'm not worried at-all and will be getting it on Day 1. I look forward to finding out what features are going to be in the game after I have bought it as I don't want the Friday updates to spoil my surprise by letting me know......fortunately after viewing them, that hasn't happened yet!

LOL not even sure they are read by 'officials' anymore anyhow. I've been asking about sound since before christmas and had no response, really frustrating tbh, especailly as all the videos contain music to cover up the sound

i woulb NOT like if CoD would need an internet connection every time as soon you start the game. Because in the time of beeing heavy involved in making an IL2 COOP onlinewar i often build the missions on a additional Laptops/notebooks without having a internet connection.

I guess, i will do missionbuilding on these additional 'PCs' also in CoD (as on the past with the lowest possible settings , looking rather weird )

at least 20% of my time i used IL2 was in the full mission builder . i enjoyed it very much !!
