I bought this game from ebay. Does this mean I cant play online. Because we will have that same cd-key?

If the key is already activated, then you can't register it with new user account

Well its used. O well thats rather dumb. I would have bought it off steam. But I am only allowed a certain amount of mb a month. Thank you for your help.
