Freeze after a fight

Hello,
I am having a 'little' problem with this great game.
I am in dwarven land and have to free a village from the demons.
Everytime i complete a fight with one of those demons, the game starts loading, then just freezes, and i have to kill the process. It happens every single time.(while i can complete other fights) I had the same problem with some snakes in the mines befor dwarven land, but i was able to avoid that fight, here it is for a quest...
Any one else had the same problem? Solution?

Once I got to the dwarvern lands most fights freeze right after I win. No one really seems to care. I notice on occasion, if I do auto combat for the entire fight it will not freeze, but that kind of defeats the purpose of playing and I take heavy losses, Auto combat doesn't even use the tactical advantage when you can pre-arrange your characters.
