Although the G6 looks ok, it actually is not. You see, this was my first plane and during the maiden flight I crash it against a palm tree at the beach, I have a video of a lousy take off but i'm not even going to bother uploading you can find plenty in youtube that depict the same stupid mistakes I made LoL. I manage to put back the airframe together in one piece but unfortunately my elevators servo is Jam so I have to replace it, its about $12.99 US. In the mean time I have been flying an apprentice plane the little yellow champ. It has take quite a beating too, but I’m still learning how to fly it. The champ doesn't have ailerons so I can't do barrels, Immelmens, or S-splits. However what I can do with it so far are loops and frequently annoying unintentional deadly spins when wind drafts are too strong. I'm planning on getting myself a ultra micro p51D from parkzone. its a bit samller than the champ but surely more fun hence it has ailerons. my champ wing span is 15in and has a length of 14in. The p51 i want to get has a wingspan of 13in and a lenght of 12in or so. my G6 on the other hand is four times the wingspan of the champ; 42in and has an overall length of 40in. Though, once I master flying my p51 and eventually my bf109 G6. I think I'll go for the ultimate prize which is a woodwork spitfire mk II with a gas engine, retractable landing gear, scale cocpit and paint like this one. The 109 has a fix landing gear not so exciting as a retractable one.
