Default USN Instructional Movies and more

On Youtube you can find VERY interesting, inspirational and for us wwii simmers relevant USN instructional movies.

We in F19 has collected a few of these on our homepage. If you visit us at http://www.f19vs.se you may find these amongst other under Menu "MULTIMEDIA - EDUCATIONAL - INSTRUCTIONAL MOVIES.
I definately recommend the first four:

Formation flying, USN Wingman tactics, Offensive fighters tactics, and Intro to dive bombing.

You may also find other interesting movies under "MULTIMEDIA" such as animations, documentaries, warbirds walkthoughs etc

welcome and happy viewing.

Lots of great movies you have there. Nice collection.

However, this one is far from correct (bomber wise).

lol... says the master!!
That's one of the SvAF formations... we try everything as long as we can stick together... we even have a formation called "meatball"

But as seen in the Svaf movies, we usually fly the VIC formation

Hehe. Reminds me of early days on UK Dedicated servers, and the 'gaggle' formation.

Haven't had the chance to watch all of the videos, but I do have your site on my bookmarks now. That formation flying video is a must see if nothing else.

Add another plane as tail end and you have a Diamond, very easy on the rookie pilots.

thanx... I have your charts from your manual in front of me right now even... excellent read. We usually end up with approx 8-9 ships on Spits or Zeke server, and then the VIC suits us well.. Take a look at the SvAF mission movie B25... we had loads of 190s swirling around, but we made it home with no ship lost.
Hopfully we may end up with 12 ships next time around...and then we will try out to add the tail end charlies in every vic

Otherwise formation flying is somewhat of a drug for us in F19 and F16 (SvAF)... too much even as we seem to fly in too tight tight tight old fashion big fighter formations ...just watch some of our screenshots also under MULTIMEDIA / GALLERY.. but we comfort ourselves that we at least go down in style

cheers

Thank you.

I knew you guys were familiar to me, you're the one who did that B-17 video F16_Ramrod posted over at SimHQ.

Don't have IL2 installed unfortunately, but I did take a look at the screen shots. Love the proper VEE and echelon formation shots. Spacing looks just right on those. You don't want to be 'air show tight', this is perfect to get the maximum out of the gunners.

Say, have the team killing trigger happy gunners been fixed in 4.10?

yeah, I made that movie after a SvAF B17 mission back in early december.. This B25 movie flick I put together this week after a very intense and beautiful SvAF raid last Sunday

Honestly, I haven't flown that much of 4.10 other than offline to fly and try so I don't know much about that.

Found some time to watch your latest B-25 video - very very nicely done. I will definitely look you guys up once DBS gets together again. Hopefully SoW will be out under a year time.
