Default Radio Compass vs Repeater Compass

Hey guys,
Can someone please make it clear to me? What is the difference between "Radio Compass" and "Repeater Compass" in relation to IL2. I'm trying to translate the "Navigation improovements" section of the 4.10
manual to russian.

And still didn't find any translation or description of the "Repeater compass". I only found a description of radio compass:
Radio compass principles are based on existance of two antennas - pin antenna and ring antenna. Direction from pin antenna to ring antenna should be perpendicular to the plane of the ring antenna. So in case if the radio transmitter is located in the same direction as pin antenna located relatively to ring antenna the amount of signal will be equal to zero. In case if radio transmitter will be located coplanarly to the plane of ring antenna the signal value will be srtongest. So we can distinguish the direction to a signal but only in scope of a hemisphere. It means that if we are moving in some direction and a signal is zero(niddle is centered) wee cannot understand where is the signal origin - infront or behind(0 deg or 180 deg).

This is all I found. Can someone help me?

Direct translation of the "Repeater compass" to russian gives nothing. At least I didn't find anynithing that makes sense.
