think about the things you could do in a korean senario:

carrier ops.

fly high performance piston aircraft - the final evolution of the WWII-era fighters - the F4U-4/5, seafury and La-9

fly early jets - the Mig-15, F-86 and F9F

nightfighter missions with the Tigercat

You could even fly the Polikarpov U-2 in bombing raids. Maybe the A-26 too.

it depends on what Grumman is holding the copyrights.....
at least the F9F ............ dont know about the Lexington class CVs.
But it was the same builder as the Yorktown, and a WIP Yorktown was not finnished for IL" because of the "Grumman-affair" IIRC ....

The Grumman affair, that was Pacific Fighters, UBI and 2004...Things have evolved, people have evolved (I would not chance saying which direction!) since then...
Lessons have probably been learned, and things done according to whatever rules have to be followed...

This will be an add-on (or complete game) installed over another game itself brand new, possibly with a different publisher than UBI, so the truth is we have absolutely no way to know what would happen, what has been negotiated, so why making any kind of statement?
What I know is that models of Grumman A/C or CW carriers are available on the market and continue to appear...so you would think some arrangements are always possible!

We shall see...
