And I like Oleg's approach on 1946, he showed that he is interested in what-if scenarios. From a developer's standpoint, trying to recreate the same planes over and over again is OK, but creating plausible (we're not talking arcade here), what-if planes is where a design team like Oleg's can play out it's creative strengths, creating a fusion between game and plane development. Because most actual modern planes start with being modeled on a computer.

During 17 years of serious flightsimming I've seen a lot of sims, planes and theatres of operations. A 109 is a 109 is a 109 is a 109. Things are repetitive. After a while, you just don't expect much of a surprise. I'm actually very much looking forward to the SU26 in SOW, i think including that is not only a terrific idea, but also a clear statement from Oleg's team pointing to possible further dev
