Having to install a new game which has about 60% of content exactly the same as the previous one, just to fly one new plane seems to me, therefore, a bit annoying. Hence, I didn't buy Ka-50 and will not buy A-10, probably, as well.

But, should they include into the "A-10" all maps and flyables from previous Lock-On series, even for a higher price, I'd, much probably, would get it.

Hope, it's not post-processed and is 100% in game...
Dear SaQSson, I was joking you know...And I am quite pleased to see that you are a multi-era/genre sim player ! That makes people like you more connaisseur and educated critiques...

Salute !

Actually, I was saying that what could be considered a really really good 2011 product by many simmers, technologicaly speaking, would in my opinion, be surpassed by SOW....

Conclusion: I was complimenting Oleg and his team....That is all...

its difficult to know what we are seeing here...the disclaimer at the beginning of the video clip says that video effects are used.

We know what Oleg thinks of WOP, so would he consider this one to be a good graphical match in terms of terrain, clouds, special f/x, immersion , etc....?

Personnally, from what I have seen so far, I have no doubt that SOW COULD in fact be superior in many aspects....

Salute !
Now the reality check , it don't look like the promo vid to me beta or no beta.

Looks nice, but i really would like to see a new and realistic vietnam era jetfighter sim. Yes i know about wings over vietnam, but it isnt very high rated. BTW, lock-on had some bad bugs. Dont the DCS series have the same problems?

DCS is probably abandoning the Su-25.

This makes me sad.

But, we'll see (no one predicted FC2)

Bit sensitive there ?

I was pointing out the difference between the highly polished promo and the beta vid that's all.

I've seen many promos like that, then the released software looks and runs like crap.

I'm sure DCS wont disappoint.

You seem to have a very firm conviction that the A10 sim is 'utter crap'. It would be interesting to hear the criteria that your using to base your opinion.

Except for the extremely steep learning curve (and the fact that the planes dont have props!), I didn't think it was too bad.

Cheers!
