There should not be any railings between the pavement and the road. These have only been added recently. The pavements look too wide to me. This photo is from the period 1948-66
 From memory, the road edge should line up with the inside of the archway. There is no pavement inside the arch, just around the outside. But these are minor points. The overall appearance is great
