Could Xbox members add their comments/views to this thread:-

http://forums.xbox.com/30851195/showpost.aspx#30851195

Please note that the forum rules must be obeyed and any comments must be your views wether you agree or not to the issue we are trying to resolve. Petitions are forbidden and the thread will ultimately be locked.

I have included the responses from Anton and his team and it is clear why 505 have effectively blocked them from communicating with us. I suggest you read it. If you have emailed 505 and not had a response say so. If you consider the thread is unfair to 505 then please say so.

I have also informed 505 that this thread is up on MS forum and provided them with a link.

I wonder if we have any legal options, considering we paid the same amount of money for the game and yet have received an inferior product. If we don't have any legal options, I wonder if Microsoft would.

Imagine if this same situation were to be happening with a blockbuster like MW2... there is no way Microsoft would allow it's game to be shortchanged

Maybe we should take this fight to Microsoft.

I intend to do that. If the MS Xbox thread I created gets the support I will contact them, refer them to that thread on their forum and ask for their response/views.
It may come to nothing but the more ammo we collectively dish out the better the chances of an MS intervention or possibly some background help.

Great positive post jkerr!

This is the kind of brain power that can move mountains (or get a patch released)

Thank you for your input!

Great work Evangelus!

You seem to have some major communication skills, possibly you could create the final patch "Draft" that jkerr mentioned previously (above)?

Then all of us can send copies to the selected sites to show are support.

SEE- when posting on other sites, you need to take the time and realize that your message is being heard by people that know nothing about the game, you didn't really mention the time frame upon which the ps3 got the patch and xbox still doesn't have it (about a month and a half).

Good luck on getting results published in magazines/articles/etc...

Ps.-- Lol, Gunny, nobody really tells you this, but most people that post on forums re-read their post atleast once to make sure it makes sense, it's not about grammar, it's about showing you care enough to make your message heard. Not proofreading means you don't really care enough, which is acceptable when texting/emailing girls and such, but not really appropriate in a forum sense, stop trying to appear as someone that's too busy, that's a lame excuse that no one believes anymore these days.

Default Mark Allen!

Judging from this artical it would appear that Mark Allen is hands on & not just a desk jockey! Maybe he is the man to contact!

As the launch of 505 Games’, in collaboration 1C Company, IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey draws even closer – the WWII aerial combat titles website has received a vast update today, with a further 11 planes (that also feature full 3D rotation), new videos that feature some much impressive game footage, and finally two wallpapers to get you in the mood!

A community update on the site also features behind-the-scenes footage of the development team at an aircraft sound recording session, which also includes an interview with Andrew Wensley, head of European development. In this, he discusses how the dynamic sound system works alongside the historically accurate graphics to enhance the overall gaming experience.

IL2Sturm

If that wasn’t enough to tempt you, a live code demo from Mark Allen, 505 Games’ European Communications Manager is soon to be uploaded that features a recorded session where you will be able to view action from some hitherto unseen campaigns and missions

I had similar comments on the Xbox thread so point taken Deascendant and a worthwhile observation.

I don't mind working on a draft for the forum and will try to be consice and relevant to the problems we are experiencing with 505. One thing I have noticed embedded in Antons replies are the Devs feelings of disappointment with this sorry affair. It seems, reading through Antons replies, that the main issue from the publishers perspective were the technical problems on the PS3 rather than 'game improvements'. The Devs appear to have gone beyond resolving those technical issues by adding gameplay improvements across both platforms. In one post he states that the publishers were aware that the updates also improved gameplay but also seems to suggest that they were satisfied with the gameplay (on the release version) but submitted the PS3 update as delivered. That may explain why, in a later reply, they (the devs) also fail to get replies from 505 following the release of the PS3 update. The Xbox argument is really confined to two issues:-

1. Failure of 505 to communicate its commitment to the Xbox platform.

2. The release of the PS3 update has resulted in a superior product with improved gameplay for PS3 despite access to, and ownership of, the software update to redress this for owners of the Xbox. (there are no technical or hardware limitations)
