I heard, from a pilot, that RAF pilots have to be able to swim a length of the pool (dunno if that's Olympic or not) underwater, get out, do 25 press ups, swim a length underwater again, do 25 press ups, and basically continue that til they throw up. Then do it twice more

woo!
1 lenght underwater in olympic pool i can do, the following 25 pushups shouldnt be a prob either, but i'm 100% sure some1 would have to fish me out of the water halfway through the second lenght and perform CPR...

Was watching Mythbuster yesterday when they were tryin the sonic boom breaking glass myth. I was amazed at the ease these pilots can take G's: I mean they were pulling like 4 or 5 G's testing the host's limits, and the pilot was talking to him the whole time, not even breathing hard, while the guy in the back was being completly crushed and finally blacked out. These guys are beasts.

Edit: oh and cheers to you automaticaddict. Pure class
