The only DMZ I'm familiar with is the one between North and South Korea.

![]() ![]() I had real issues with Bad Company trying to join games with by brother in law. No issues with any other game except that one. I ended up looking at a guide to put PS3 in a DMZ but gave up in the end. I played the other night and had problems, not just join errors but the big crash bug. The crash bug is even stranger now as if you get a kill against the player who gets the bug you get a kill every time he explodes. I saw the message I killed someone 4 times in a row, and got the points for it. Pretty weird |

Putting your PS3 in a DMZ is very specific to your router... You need to know how to configure your router to:
1) Allocate a static IP to your PS3's MAC address - the MAC address can be found from the XMB->system settings->system information. You need the router to give the PS3 the same IP everytime, because you put IPs in a DMZ, not MAC addresses or device names. 2) Put the IP that will be given to the PS3 outside the router firewall (i.e. DMZ). This will probably involve creating a firewall "rule" or "exception". Just google "<your_router> ps3 dmz" ![]() |
