Why isn't my Paladin resurrecting my guard droids?

No, no. Paladins definitely DO resurrect other creatures (in fact zero losses is pretty much impossible without them) but they don't apparently resurrect droids OR Royal Thorns. I know from experience about the Thorns..

But the description is obviously wrong.
