Oh I agree, there are just too many bezels in the last one, actually for me, there are too many bezels in the six monitor display also.

I like my config the best, a big 30" in the center and two smaller 20"s on the side to give you a little bit more!

However, when bezeless monitors come out it is going to be insane!

I have seen some really amazing HD projectors out there. I mean you have to get one that costs some money and one that has some serious lumens, but you can get really huge with one.

Thanks for the info on your setup l88bastard. I'm not looking at running a 3 screen setup and I just want to be able to run OFF close to max settings at 1080. I just built this AMD Phenom II X4 940 black 3.0 ghz .
It was cheap and I just built a new house ,so I didn't have a lot of extra cash, but I think it should do what I need it to do over the next 5 yrs.

I just haven't figured out what kind of card to go with. I'm going to use SLI and I'm wondering if one card in SLI with the intergrated Nforce 750a will let me do what I want. I mean its only 1080.

MW2 has been out for 36 hours. In that time, IW and Activision have created and released 2 patches for the game.....following feedback from the forums.

So, let's not hear any more nonsense that it takes Sony weeks to test and release patches - clearly it doesn't. It's plain (ignore the pun) incompetance from either 505 Games or the dev.

Crazy

Not to belittle IL-2, but MW2 is a different beast. Not really fair to compare the too. It makes sense that MW2 will get special attention.

And look what all the speeding up did . The only reason why 1.02 was needed was because 1.01 messed up the trophies, and the only reason a 1.03 is needed is because 1.02 messed up connectivity.
And, as draux mentioned, the companies are not comparable.

He's not talking about the companies that published the games, he is talking about how long these patches were at sony before they recieved the O.K. I know Infinity is going to rec pref from sony, but there has to be more going on w/ BOP for it to be taking this long.

Looking at what the patches of MW2 do, they don't require as much testing. This obviously doesn't explain the delay on IL2's, but it could explain why it went so fast: preferred companies + small patch = very fast testing.
The problem with IL2 is that the publishers have something to do with the delay, in some way no one can explain..

Exactly, I'm pretty sure we are on the same page. My concerns aren't just for the patch alone, they are for the future of any type of serious flight simming on consoles. If these guys dont come through I cant see any other pubs taking a chance on a niche game such as BOP.

It isn't a bad game, but the lack of german cockpits (for some reason that is the only way I can truly enjoy flight simming) and any real challenge in single player is holding it just short of what it could be.

Cheers!

I pray to god that QA departements don't think the same, because this is quite wrong. If any aspect of the code changes you need to test the entire thing again. There's a multitude of reasons for why a code change to do with one aspect can cause problems in totally seemingly unrelated areas.

I think the CoD patches are fast tracked because Activision have a lot of eggs in the CoD basket and a lot of financial clout. They need CoD to succeed, especially after their CEO's flagrant disregard for his customers. Also, Sony has to accept partial responsibility for green lighting such an obviously buggy patch in the first place.

BoP has never been as broken as CoD is right now.

What is buggy about COD? MW2?

I've played mostly all the way through and they only thing I have seen is a framerate drop (once that I noticed) during a very heavy gun fight.
