Default Hello, everyone!

Just registered on the forums and wanted to drop in and give everyone a big hello.

I haven't picked up the game yet, but keep talking myself into wanting to try it out. I have a hard time resisting a good WW2 flight game.

How popular is the multiplayer? I have been messing around with Heroes Over Europe, but there's hardly any games running.

Welcome!

There aren't very many people playing the multiplayer, but you can still organize matches with people here and such. There are some issues with the game but hopefully a patch is coming soon. Right now a lot of people are on edge waiting for the patch, so you may hear a lot of negativity in some threads here on the forums. Don't let it put you off though, Birds of Prey is still so much better than Heroes over Europe if you want a realistic and fun game.

Welcome Windchaser welcome!

What console you got? If you've got xbox add me: sloppyclock; there are enough people online each night to play some decent games so dont worry about that, also the added bonus is that because there are less people, you end up making friends with people, so the community is much more close-knit.
Proper rivalries build up, makes it much more competitive at times.
And if your reading this Tipoc86; good game tonight, better luck next time

I would be getting it on the 360. Forgot to mention that part. ;D My gamertag is Lugoves. If I can pry my girlfriend away from my 360 and Dragon Age: Origins I might swing by and pick it up at Gamestop tonight. hehe

As for negativity . . . I'm used to that. Been playing games way too long and reading their forums for as long (lots of MMORPGS too) so I am immune to it!

I loved the demo of this so I'm definitely leaning hard towards buying it. I enjoyed the demo more than I enjoyed all of HOE.

I love a good realistic WW2 flight sim. Have enjoyed European Air War, the MS WW2 combat flight sim, and even WW2 Online flying a 109.

Hello! I think most guys on this forum are sim guys and they may not be into the lower difficulty levels. I'm an arcade guy. I've seen Subaru online (shooting me down, unfortunately) but no others. I work 2nd shift and get online nightly around 11:30 CT. There is a pretty good amount of loyal players at that time and I've had no problem getting matches. I've got about 20 friends and it's a lot of fun playing with them. Some of them are very good and you run into beginners, making the games fun and a definate challenge! There are a few problems but the gameplay is excellent enough to play work through the glitches. I'm havin a ball!!!! It's worth the money IMO. I'd buy it again for sure.

You can add me to your friends list (Ancient Seraph), but I'm not playing a lot these days.

Ugggh, damnit.

Think my 360 is dying. Was playing a bit ago and now it freezes up and there's little rectangles all over the screen.

Figures
