CoD4 already gives you points for dying. IW new idea is to make it an actual feature of the MP, which is frankly farsical. If anything you should get points deducted and upgrades/unlocks and the like deducted for failure to survive.
Far to many games now are simply made for a quick buck and have lost sight of what games were supposed to be all about. The term "casual gamer" is simply a marketing ploy to cover up the fact that some developers nowadays are simply crap or lazy and dont/cant actually make a class title. Almost everyone by definition is a casual gamer, we dont play games for a living (although we would like to
) and up until recent times we never had a problem with a games "complexity" if it was a well made title.
Thats what drew people in to a game in the first place, not a fancy name and photoshoped gameplay pictures.
