ok thanks guys for the advice
 i will check out that zooforum as well i have a saitek av8r i know its a cheap stick but it will do me for now and my lcd tv has dolby stereo on it also so all should be good then just a case of waiting for the postman to deliver it now many thanks guys and thanks to oleg for taking the time to post a reply much apreciated
