Might end up getting the PC version anyway, because my PC flightstick is much better than anything available for either console, and there might be the prospect of the PC version using the extra buttons available to reintroduce some of Il2 1946's more sim like aspects.

WOW! How can you even contemplate buying this for the PC when you have Oleg's Battle of Britain - Storm of War around the corner. That, my friend is shaping up to be the mother of all combat flight sims!!!

Seeing the popularity of the game, maybe nothing. I wouldn't count on a lot at least. I recon the devs are busier with the sequel..

As I said many times I love this game, so far my favorite on my ps3 (the only platform I have for games).

The point is would I buy a sequel?

If the current BoP will be supported enough (which doesn't mean a lot necessarily), yes I will.

Otherwise, I don't say no but I will think about for a while before I make a decision.

I understand devs and publishers and market laws, but I'm a gamer and money is hard earned.

The screens look beautiful and excite me for an update. I'm pretty patient in these matters (unlike my quest to unlock the FW-190 F8 by virtue of winning 20 matches in the JU-87 D-3) and I can only hope the extra time is being spent fixing the 190 flight model.

I REALLY want to use the 190 without instantly entering the death spin...

If you haven't unlocked it yet do it in strike missions. Thats what I did.

Still trying... unfortunately, I had the requirement confused. I thought it was a combination or either CTA or Strike, not one or the other. I swear I've won 20 missions in each match type, though.

Just checked the unlock list. You are correct it is 20 matches in CTA or Strike.
