Default Visual Problem

I wonder if everyone has this problem or if it is just me, but planes seem to be completely invisible between a certain range on my tv. I'll give an example to help explain. An enemy will be approximately 4 or 5 kilometres out, and I can see a nice big black dot, and then it seems from about 3 or 4 kilometres all the way in to about 1 kilometre, or even like 800 metres, I can't see a plane. It then re-appears just slighty out of firing range. It's almost like I can see the tracers and smoke trails of his bullets before his plane is even visible.

Up until now I've just been doing like 5 vs 1s and 10 vs 1s in training in a Spit II against 109s on veteran and winning easily everytime, but I realistically can't even fly any BnZ fighter because I just can't see anything unless they're really close in. It's such a game breaker, and ironically my PC bit the dust the day BoP was released and I've been dying to get back my beloved Il2:1946. Hopefully there's a cure for this and you guys aren't all playing with this problem.

Yes that's a strong problem especially on small online dogfight 1vs1.

It might feel unrealistic, but try using your map like a radar. Don't fly with it constantly on, but snap quick looks at it every now and again to get oriented. Its also pretty useful for identifying friend from foe.

Yeah, we are all playing with this problem

There's a fix for it in the up-coming patch...

Yea the map just kills the immersion factor for me though, when this is fixed the P51D is getting some serious use. Thanks for the replies boys.
