I don't even know what it is.

And why is it forbidden to speak of it at the Ubizoo?

I think you might change an option to 'Used NewView, but now own TIR or similar' which is my situation.
I thought NewView was great when I was using it.

Becauses makers of TrackIR would like to establish a monopoly in head tracking technology for PC games.

You notice trackIR games do not support other headtracking programs or when they do work they are limited to 3DOF?

Natural point has gotten agreements to even ban talk of other tracking devices on some publishers' forums, like you have noticed.

So, in my opinion, natural point does not want real competition - they would rather lock up exclusive licensing and create a monopoly.

The thing that is forbinden in UbiZoo is not Freetrack (head track with web cam)?

That was one of the situatoins that I had originally included in the parenthesized part of the second choice, but I was informed by the Forum that my description was too long for the poll to be posted, LOL. The current wording of the second choice has probably reached the maximum length allowed.

By the way, NewView supports TrackIR (see the image attached below), though I myself don't know what the programme does for it, since I don't have TrackIR equipment.

Can someone give me a link to Free Look the site is gone and I cant find any old links to the original freeware. Just got back into 1946 and need it till I can get a track ir, from reviews it seems people find Free Look smoother than Cam2pan?

If it weren't for New View, i probably wouldn't even be playing Il2.

There is a lack of enthusiasm for New View because of its limited English instructions. But much like the rest of Il2 set up, you have to use a bit of common sense, as well as trial and error to figure out what does what.

I was able to find a way to get smoother mouse pans, while also locking a center position for my mouse.
Later releases of New View include control inputs for the use of 6Dof, which i only partly use to move my head side to side. It is capable of much more than what i use it for.

New View also has a button generator that allows you to program different keys and commands. You can also program a key when you press a button, and then program another key for when you release that same button.

I'm actually very comfortable with my set up, and i know there might be other panning tools, but New View offers much more than just mouse smoothing.
