That sounds pretty much the same as PS3 from my experience...

Where is America on this game? The online dies after midnight GMT but that should be prime game time across the states. Maybe you're all pissed at the treatment the P51 got? lol

OP, have you tried making games? I tend to choose non-arcade games over arcade ones given the choice, and if I make a sim game there are a few people who will join. Eventually.

The only way to get a decent amount of people into a sim game is with organisation. If you do get into a sim game, invite all the sim players from your friends list, and ask everyone in the room to do the same... as long as the host is prepared to wait for a few extra mins then you should be able to get a decent amount in. The problem is that people are impatient (myself included) and start matches far too early.

It occurs to me that people who have the patience for flying on Sim mode are probably more likely to be willing to wait a few minutes for more like minded players.

There's nothing worse than not being able to find any other game than an arcade strike or CtA that you can virtually guarantee the host will start as a 2 on 1.

Pretty sparse on the Xbox, at least at my hours. I play 10pm to 11pm (midnight if not tired) PST (GMT - and its rather dead. I see a few regulars, but there are very few games going, even fewer realistic, and very rarely a sim.

I do hate the hosts that get 6 in, and continue to wait and wait and wait until folks start leaving, as I bail too after awhile. I'm not waiting 10 minutes in order to play a round thats going to last 10 minutes. I get only an hour, maybe two sometimes a night to play and I'd prefer to actually be flying something during that time, not staring at a lobby I don't even mind a lopsided run anymore, just get it started!

Yeah people do tend to hang around for longer in a sim lobby before flashing their ready arrows a few times then leaving. Maybe it literally separates the men from the boys lol.

And what's with the new trend I'm seeing more and more of? Hosting strike or CTA games for an odd number of players (usually 5 or 7). WTF is up with that...?

Yeah with extra use of invitation, we always succed to find a 2vs2. And when things works well at 10PM GMT+1, we have usually 4vs4 games.

Wich is already enough to be a big mess.

But it's always Battle TEAM. I played just 1 game in CTA and 1 Strike both in realistic so far. (So i don"'t understand what to do in CTA lol)

Before BoP I was reluctant to accept non true friends, but now I've got many o them all playing BoP sim.
