Ah someone else wondering the same thing I am. I've tried asking people that im flying with what kind of icon my plane is on the radar in realistic, but ive never got a clear answer. I always forget to look whenever someone else is flying one. I thought all the bombers start off with bombs in the default armourment but the IL-2 doesn't?

It's a right pain to unlock those weapons for the IL-2. Ive got the 50kg bombs and small rockets for just playing games, but now I need to destroy targets and win strike games and I can't do this because the rockets and feather bombs do ZERO damage to ground targets and my team loses. Ive ended up having to boost for the first time. At least with the B17 i know if I contine just playing competative games using bombers I will eventually unlock it without trying for it.

God knows how anybody would accidently unlock the bombs for the P-51D. I don't even know if it is physicaly possible to destroy 50 ground targets with just rockets. Its ridiculous.
