Default Good USAAF P-47/P-51 campaigns?

So, I'm looking for a good historical P-47 or P-51 campaign in the 43-44 time period, either in the European or Pacific theater, that covers the sort of things those planes generally did. I'd prefer a 1943 P-47 European campaign, but I'll take what I can get.

Anyone know of anything like that?

Smile Good USAAF P-47/P-51 campaigns?

Hi Harry Voyager,
There are a few USAAF static campaigns posted on Mission4Today.com. The 'Battle over Europe' mission and campaign expansion would still be available on CD. This has 12 dynamic campaigns (DGen) with the USAAF and is regularly updated.

I have been considering a static campaign based on the book 'Thunderbolt!' published by IBooks New York. This is the story of one of America's top aces Robert S. Johnson who flew with the 56th Fighter Group over Europe from Oct 1943 to Feb 1944. He flew several versions of the Thunderbolt (all covered in IL-2) during this period and ended up with 28 victories.

I have just finished 'Green Hearts Dora-9' which is a 69 mission historical static campaign which took me three months to research, write, test and complete - there is a lot of work involved.

I agree that the USAAF are a bit neglected in the historical static campaign area - perhaps I will try and change that.

Looks interesting. I'll have to poke around in it. Are the mission air start, or ground start, or can it be controlled? I just have a fondess for the old SWOtL campaign style, I guess.
