Grow up.

This is the problem with our country. Too many who think EVERYTHING America does is golden and perfect:

I guess if they made a tank sim you'd expect sherman tanks to withstand a few rounds from tiger tanks and be able to take tiger tanks out with one shot?

But guess what, the Sherman tank sucked. Many Shermans were destroyed for every Tiger tank destroyed.

This is fact - deal with it.

The P-51 had great high alt performance and superior range for escort missions - but was not a plane for low-alt turning fights and could not climb with or away from the german or russian planes at low alt.

This is fact - deal with it.

If you want the P-51 to fly how most casual American historians think it would fly - it would out turn bi-planes, break the sound barrier, and be an arcade game joke.

Apparently you need to play HOE. HOE whored itself out for consumption by the ignorant. This is the game you are asking for. Enjoy.
Now take everything you just said and apply it to the IL serise of planes, and strangely enough it seems the IL planes have been up spec'd to the legendary status the Russian have been brought up to beleive it was.

I'm not engineer, but if I put 30+ cannon rounds through an IL-10 wing, its coming off, simple as, but does it in the game, no.
