@ Reggiane

"Tree UK jr., Feuerfalke jr. and reggiane jr. etc. will be the new BOB SOW pilots from now on."

LMAO Reg, I fear we may have had our day....You can count "Orville jr." amongst them too . Maybe you're right.....Its time to let go.

Whitney Houston Song (The Greatest Love of all)......

"I believe the Children are our future, Teach them well and let them lead the way,
Show them all the beauty the possess inside.
Give them a sense of pride, to make it easier,
Let the Childrens laughter, remind us how we used to be"..........

When I was talking to Ubisoft about SOW, I told them that pre-orders were being taken at play.com stating that Ubi were the publishers, James O'Riely told me he would look into this because he did not want Ubi's name assoiciated with the title, looking at play.com's recent advert for SOW they have indeed removed ubisoft's name.

I'm sure work is being done on the sim but the silence only leaves you wondering what is really going on. Oleg has made a habit of not coming through on practically every promise regarding the sim. I kind of wonder if the project really has been canceled for some time now and Oleg and a few of his more devoted team members are trying to finish the project as a indi sim and not let on, maybe out of embarrassement as he doesn't want to let the community/fans down. All of which could be for the lack of updates and so forth. Again its just a thought.

You gotta wonder how that whole Grummun fiasco affected the 1C/UBI relationship. Also we did receive a buncha planes/patches for free. I remember UBI hinting that us flight simmers were spoiled brats. When the bottom line is making a profit you wonder how UBI looked at all those patches.

Did these things permanantly sully the relation between developer and publisher?

I remember waiting for 1946 to be released & when I got it it contained 2 discs, one for the game & the other containing development shots, film, etc of SOW. That was back in 2007 (I think that was when 1946 was released)
