Well the I-16 and I-153 both turn ridiculously tightly, but of course that is balanced by a lack of speed, certainly in the case of the I-153

Well the topic is "most agile" so I suppose you can ignore speed.

I would go with the I-153. You have to baby it if you're diving for sure, but it can turn like no other. If you're lucky enough to speed up to someone's six, they'll have a hard time shaking you. Most people will try to out turn you, so that lines you up for a good shot and can lead them. Just hope they don't go in a straight line, or they'll leave you in the dust! Or better yet, do what the Russians did to the Japanese...come in with your landing gear down, making you look all slow and sluggish, and then retract it when you get in range and barrel at them with cannons!

One of my secrets has been discovered!! LOL

Seriously, I would have to say the I-153 Chaika. Biplanes, though slow and not heavily armed, have one hell of a way to get away from enemies and such. But for monoplanes, Yak-3. I've had no problem with this planes turning or anything. Depending on whether I keep it at 5,000ft or below, the plane handles like a gem.

The 153 & I-16 are the most agile, but the La-7 is my favorite for turn & burn.

Yea, I'd say the La-7 as well. I just fell in love with this plane
