i knew all about the games pitfalls when o bought it, i have no doubt the team will get this sorted.
I reckon its the terrain engine, memory leak? there is absolutely no reason why my rig should perform so badly in CoD over terrain, whereas in RoF over citied its really smoothe, its not the amount of houses or trees, it must be something else making it heave.

good luck anyhow

Sorry but this is poor timing.

Posting about the future of the game when you still have a lot of work to do on CoD makes me somewhat peeved.

I understand this is what is happening in the future but to be honest I really couldn't give two monkeys until this game is fixed properly. You really have a long way to go on this one and posting about expansions is really poor show in my opinion.

Tell you what since I have been beta testing this one for you guys how about we get this expansion for free?

So will you grow up now?
So it's OK to praise 1C in this thread but not berate them?

How one sided.

I did a little jig when I saw the Il-2...

Happy VE day to you and your staff Luthier, I hope that you guys have finally gotten some rest.

I thought showcasing some new stuff would go down well on the forum, since (to me at least) it shows that all the speculation about the series being dropped after the US release is a lot of rubbish.
Oh well, at least some of us are happy.

Time and time again I asked you and Oleg to show us real in game footage but the subject was avoided at all costs, I asked many time about SLI and how well the game would run on top end rigs, each question was either ignored or thrown back in my face, a few bans were also implemented to keep me silenced. Then we had the leaked Youseff video that we can all see was a marketing ploy since noone got the game to run that well out of the box.
If you want to make us happy why dont you start with a little truth, I am more than happy to put all your misleading hype pre release behind in the past, I am more than happy to help iron out bugs with error reporting, so how about a little bit back from you guys, i.e. tell us what really happened, you guys need to level with your fan base here, you can only gain respect from that and im sure it will help us all feel a little less conned.

last whine from me, im going to be more positive in future but this post from luthier just made me a little angry. Im over it now, lets move on

Peace.
I agree with this. I like the preview of the future but seriously, no update on patch progress for what we already have? I'd think after releasing the game in this state you would feel obligated to update us whenever possible, but if that's not how your roll...

Happy VE day

Common now!

VE day is a major, MAJOR occasion in Russia- a national holiday! A vague picture of il2 announcement of Battle for Moskow is completely in tune with that as was Luthier's first solemn post.

Its got nothing to do with patches, SLI, FPS, etc- its VE day for goodness sake!

Happy VE day!

I'm looking forward to buying the Eastern front version of COD, be sure.

Even the possible planepool for this scenario looks interesting:
Bf109F, Bf109E-7/B, Bf110D&E, Ju87B, Hs123,Ju88A-5&-4, He111H-6
vs
MiG-3, Yak-1, LaGG-3, P-40B/C, I-153, I-16, Il-2(singleseater), DB-3, SB-2, Pe-2
as main examples

I also , very personaly, would have preferred an early North African , not to say a MTO, AdOn first.....
Also a tactical war with groundsupport but with additonal maritime warfare like carrieroperations and torpedobombers
