It just takes a few hours to really get used to it, and then you will not want to let go. Don't change anything until you are comfortable, then and only then adapt it to your tastes.

Go with TIR5 with Proclip, then make it wireless...mates up great with the Wireless Logitec G930 Headset

You can't judge the whole Track-Ir experience by FSX, it's a little clunky in that title because you can stick your head through the windshield or behind the seat, in Cliffs or Il-2 it works much better, so much so that I can no longer fly without it and if you adjust the curves for each axis to your comfort it will feel completely natural. I have watched some of the videos posted here and find myself turning my head to look out the windows, lol.

I just ordered one. I didn't realise how many games I had which it works for and I have had ARMA 2 on my soon to buy list since christmas so more use will come from it. It is really expensive, so much so that I almost didn't buy it but I figure that if I get lots of use out of it then the cost will be worth it in the long run.

It takes a bit of getting used to in Arma2 (and CLOD/ROF for that matter), but once your use to it - it adds a whole new dimension to the game.
