The controls are a bit jerky but I assume that is because that's how the planes were. These aren't fly by wire F16's. They jerk when you turn, jerk when you fire, jerk when you get hit. It's a jerk fest!!!

I felt that issue to be honest, it felt like the deadzone was way too big on the 360 troller. I put the sensitivity down to only 3 or 4 bars and a bit more for the elevators and it smoothed it somewhat, but its still there.

cable controlled planes can be quite jerky. Even using a proper flight stick like a CH Fighter stick you'll have a hard time keeping a plane like that lined up without trimming.
