it's frustrating enough waiting, while some of us can do it patiently like adults, sharing the journey with screaming kids gets tiresome.

I don't know if you have kids Bongodriver but generally, if you are going to drive an extremely long distance you should take breaks and do something to appease the kids or they will carry on. Mind you, if I drive adults an extremely long distance I also have to expect that they won't stay quiet and patient if I don't take breaks and do something to other than continuous driving.

let's dish out lollipops to the whiners?

Beisdes, I equate this journey to a longhaul flight, theres no pulling up in a layby, just a monotonous continuous journey with some brat kicking the back of your seat the whole way.

Yeah, my impression exactly.

The thing is that I think they do not know themselves whether this is serious or not. Giving us another deadlines would only cause more havok if not met.

I wouldn`t be surprised if they halt the comms altoghether. Answering demands of those that daily bash this game and its devs doesn`t really change their attitude. It just gives them incentive to stay here and keep trolling.

So asking if these are major bugs because I know nothing about programming is trolling? So asking someone something you know nothing about is trolling? How I ever got on in life without asking anything I'll never know. If you read my post you would see I said I didn't mind waiting for this to be fixed.

Who said trolling?....it's just bloody annoying seeing people ask questions that are already answered many many times.

the beta patch is round the corner, they just did a total rewrite of the graphics engine in 6 months, squashing some bugs in that rewrite is not going to take years.

Touchè..
Btw there is not a real answer from the community on that argoument in my opinion, everything depends from how is made the code. The problems on the texture rendering perhaps is what coul be more problematic, considering that it is on various and different situations. But beeing you I would wait the answer from a more reliable source than me..
