Who said it was going to be 1 week or less? I would prefer it to be released now and they can continue fixing the bugs. I don't believe for one minute that all the bugs are going to be fixed in the next patch and some people want to be able to play the game for now. I can tell you that it will take more then 1 week to make the game 100% like the poll suggests. I think this patch will address a few issue, but it's mainly a fix for the FPS.

I haven't voted yet myself.

The big downside of releasing early is that the devs are likely to get it in the neck unless it is PERFECT.

The only possible "get out" might be if the community, after maturely weighing up the pros and cons ( yeah, I know...) were to decide that they were willing to accept some imperfections.

In that situation the devs could be 'let off the hook'.

For that to work I think there would need to be a big majority of people prepared to accept some remaining flaws.

I think they will just have to get used to the game having some remaining flaws, but I don't think it's about that. I think people just want to be able to play the game they paid for. My main issues with the game was the FPS and i'll be happy to see that fixed. I know the game will still have bugs, just like every other Game/Program and Ant Hill.

I would like the patch now. IF, they have fixed the CTD's. That is the NUMBER 1 show stopper. I can handle the slight lags with particles, Even the terrible FM's. I jsut want to be able to climb to altitude and get ina fight without CTD with only 4 planes in a fight. Besides they can alsways realease another patch when they iron out particles. As that is a patch worthy subject all its own.

Trouble is though.... everyone has different No1 showstopper

Give the developers time to get it as best they can, without harrassment... then release a Beta patch, address any items found there and release the patch proper after that

Everyone has a different showstopper....maybe so....I would argue the CTD is pretty broad and is No 1 for most...Particle slowdowns? I don't see that

Potnoodles hit it on the head, even when they releases the "finished" patch, there will be so much stuff wrong that they will catch just as much grief for releasing it now. Sorry thats just the way it is.

And im sorry but id like to stop CTD ing right now.

I just dont want to chance any corruption from the 'iffy' patch messing up the 'final' patch... It will still be 'finger's crossed' when it is released...

Thumbs down Give me my money back or give me patches on a weekly basis with improvments

It would be good to see a better flow of beta patches that we can install try and revert back to Release candidate, if its not working out, Uhh personally i have lost a little hope, i don't know if you all remember release day but are friend particle BUG was right there every time u pulled the trigger the plane came to 1 fps and shit hit the fan, If there back to that then the problem will never be fixed and the expansion will be a stand alone, No more Bob and they will take our money and let this Peace Die, so sad really such a great game to be left to Die with out support like back in the good old days Ohh i miss those times. Now we need some lawyers to SUE these Crooks for Releasing and taking our money, and now using that money for there next ventures. really whoever is making these decisions Really messed up and should be fired and if its the creators of this game, Really Such a shame. Wonder how there feeling about the grief knowing That we know they ripped us off.

No really, Thanks for fixing the issues in a timely manner, thanks for The aggravation, thank you for everything i hope the Metiers Hit you guys first. and that some one Sues the shit out of your for false advertising, Selling an inferior product, and advertising of a game that is not finished. Really a shame. i am totally Disappointed in all of you.

Jimmy Totally Disappointed and cowering away from the big bad man that punched me for my money.

Give me my money back $$$$$ enough Lies. enough Lies.

Everybody knows they have a special machine that you put a coin in, enter the desired functions in the menu and press the green button and out pops a beta patch, it's not like they actually have to code it themselves.
