No, it should not because an engine-mounted weapon in a Bf 109 E is nothing but a false rumor that is still around because far too many "authors" are too lazy to do own research and copy from an ancient (and in many parts downright wrong) publication on the Bf 109. No Emil ever had an engine-mounted weapon.
