for what? for cutting bottom and rear views? now you can open canopy and move your head right or left when you checking your six. if you turn off X and Y, the only thing you will see in hurricane is an armoured back.

Try to reduce sensitivity or make huge dead zones at this axes instead of turning they off.

Yes I tried. I will try harder as Im ending up with views jumping all over the place and then I must recenter tir view like madman...btw sometimes few secs you need to open canopy adn to lean back - you dont have

I have better look with closed canopy too. And of course there are two states of flight. A cruise and a fight. When I am cruising I always do it with opened canopy. To be honest I frequently fight the same way, because speed not affected by it. When glasses were muddy it gave additional chance to recognize the enemy. Now glass is clear, but a habit is second nature.

So, if you 'recentering tir like madman' I think you don't have troubles with trackir, but with your restlessness

I can give you my own profile, if you want.

I use 6dof all the time when flying, in the 109 just lean slightly to line up the sight. Use a bit of dead zone and soft sensitivity curve works great for me.
