Default Saitek X52 prop pitch mapping

On which button or axis do you mapped the prop pitch control on your X52?

I mainly fly the 109 and I mapped it to the slider on the throttle control but I am often getting frustrated because I move it a little bit to wide and don't hit the middel position and then the pitch goes full up or down. And when I notice my mistake it is often too late, especially in a dog fight. Very annoying!

I think that I will try it on the POV on the throttle control. This is also more realistic becuase I have to keep the button pressed to alter the pitch, like in a real 109.

Any other ideas?

Yes, it is really much better on the forefinger POV hat.
And what could I do with the unmapped slider now?

Sliders are great for breaks. Full break don't stick unless you use autopilot or mapp it to a slider. Great when warming up big engines like on the Brenheim.

I use the slider for prop-pitch on all planes (and for brakes with modifier) but I have set a deadzone in the middle, which helps to get the 109 in neutral.

Hello

could a pilot be so kind to show me - best in pictures since I am German and am still not profound an all the aerial terms... - how to set up the slider.

I assume you - we - do everything in the SST soft. I read somewhere it 'd be best to set a 'deadzone' in the middle of the slider's way so to speak - doing nothing - and to set the upper top and bottom appropriately.
Well, how can I do that?

thank you
