May I acquaint you to the ReversalBug? Did you flash the firmware update from December 2010? This does resolve the issue on elevator and aileron - for throttle, pedals, trims, etc. you've to mod it (see here and here)

Believe me, it's worth it.

Thanks Art. Yep, I updated the firmware the day it arrived. It's not so much the reversal bug as the big sloppy zone, even with centring spring enabled and the notchy feel of the stick when the FFB kicks in. It's so bad I'm not even sure if its faulty or not.

Could be, could really be... I don't believe to have something even remotly similiar with mine. But this passes the limits of textual communication - we would have to put them side by side and compare haptically... haptually?, hapticly? - well, however: by hands on.
