I'd be a little bit surprised if there wasn't some stashed away somewhere though. Thing is, I can't think of a time between the end of the war and even now when an official release of such footage would have been politically or diplomatically beneficial. I don't think historians get a lot of say in those sort of matters, not when there are 'more important' factors involved. |
