1st: Il2 favors NV, so if you upgrade for IL2 only, the choice is obvious.
2nd: I dont think you would see ANY improvement. your 4870 is already more than enough for the job as far as fps go - is the code, not the card. (you can have 580s SLI and I guarantee you, when you drop a nuke on a city you'll get a slideshow)
