Graveyard evil kid & General Karador

Don't know if it means anything but I noticed when I talked to the evil kid in the graveyard (swamp) he said he can't see General Karador's sign on me .
I'm just wondering if it means anything and if it does what exactly ?
(anyone got the "sign" and then went back to the kid ?)
