Graveyard evil kid & General Karador

Don't know if it means anything but I noticed when I talked to the evil kid in the graveyard (swamp) he said he can't see General Karador's sign on me .
I'm just wondering if it means anything and if it does what exactly ?
(anyone got the "sign" and then went back to the kid ?)

You will learn who Karador is later in the game. Don't worry. You can't do anything besides attacking the castle.
