As for the Slingers, I should have been more clear: they were not controlled by me in the slightest, nor do I believe the Gremlin towers attacked them. They were nearby, backed away, and single-targeted the towers. Only for a single round though. And in only 2 battles (I've done others; though they probably didn't have Slingers in them).

Thanks on both accounts. For the slingers, if it happens again I'd love to test the quicksave before the fight. I believe you, I just can't think of any reason why this is happening so it will be hard to reproduce without a savegame.

Has anybody else seen slingers go rogue on the gremlin towers? If you remember what items they were in that would help, maybe somebody has one they haven't upgraded yet.
