XWA was and still is a great game. I'm not sure if you've heard of XWAupgrade?? If you're rig can handle it I'd suggest you go to
http://www.xwaupgrade.com and start down loading all the mods. You'll also have to grab the basic installer and it adds a ton of life to a game that let's face it looks pretty dated.
These guys have done a stella job and it turns the craft from pretty average looking annimations to what they look like in the films, with in the graphics engines capability anyway.
I grabbed them all and started the game all overaging they way it should have looked first time around. It does suck the resources of an older system but SW on the PC never looked so good.
