), i have an Athlon XP 3000+ and the game did not start with the new .dll's (mg_snd_sse.dll and the other one).
But the game makes no difference when the original files are in place (il2fb.exe and files.sfs and the others), i have a version switcher for every version since 4.01.
But to clarify, after installing the patch and it didn't work, i made a new clean install straight from the DVD and patched to 4.08 then 4.09. Even that gave me the same result as on my main installation. Only the dll's from CSThor let me start the game in the 4.09 version.
