Default MSFF2 joystick force feedback settings?

I am trying some force feedback profiles from Russian forums, and they work for initial 30 sec of the mission, and then CloD switches on maximum force- I have to nearly break the joystick to pull out from dives and cannon fire has joystick recoiling like a real handgun recoil.

Did anyone overcome such problem? Which settings/profiles are you using?

Dear Luthier, please add the force feedback "strength" option in the game!

Lucky you!

Can you post these profiles? would be nice to have some strong feedback on the SW2FFB...

Do you happen to lose the feedback sometimes with these profiles?

No, I do not have this problem but I use the standard profiles.

If you search this forum you will find the posts with the links to ForceFeedback Editors
A more direct way is to go there:

I think you need to register first.

They are all on this page: http://www.sukhoi.ru/forum/showthrea...t=68841&page=3

Are you saying you have WEAK force feedback on your MSFF2? Are you running the latest patch ? (I am)
THe default (and all the "russian" profiles above) are waaaay too strong for me, I am afraid of wearing out or even braking the plastic cogs...

Yes, it does look like Greek lol, but just get the .rar and .zip files...

Please let us know if you stumble on a breakthrough with force feedback. Now that performance is acceptable on my machine, its FF that is stopping me from playing the sim I cant play with it turned off as there is no centering force at all, and with it on centering and other forces are waaaay to strong.

I'm assuming the cannon in the bf109 and not in the bf110? Try the cannon in the bf110 is it as strong?

I'm tearing my hair out because the 'community' here won't answer this question for me. The bf109 uses the wrong forces file for cannon that's why it's so strong.

You can use 'fedit' to edit the forces files. The problem however is that the autocannon.ffe file is not used by the bf109 cannon. At least that's the case for me but NOBODY on this forum wants to confirm that for me. I've raised the question like 4 times......

I am sorry Xomad, I stopped flying for the "Dark side" at CoD because of the "head restriction or no centered gunsight" combination so I can not tell you.

If I ever do, I will let you know.

However, someone has already posted that Bf109 cannon issue in this forum some weeks ago and even posted the file the Bf109 cannon was linked to. He was complaining thart lowering the function of the cannon would give him less feeling on the controls of the Bf109. I did not care so I did not keep a copy of the post, sorry.

But the solution for you should be easy:
use 'fedit' to edit the forces files of all files, one by one. Then you will find the one that is usedby te Bf109 cannon...

Hi Grathos,

That guy would have been me, but nobody has confirmed my findings so the devs aren't going to pay attention if it's only affecting one guy. That's why I'm desperate for someone else to let me know if they've got the same issue.

I know there are a lot of FFB owners and a lot that fly 109's and it's a simple test, start a quick mission in bf110 pull cannon trigger, start mission in bf109 pull cannon trigger, compare the two. If the cannon is stronger in the 109 then it looks like it's using the wrong .ffe file like it is on my system.

I'll test for 109/110 differences tonight as well.

But, the worst thing for me is that its not JUST the cannon recoil, its EVERYTHING that has feedback assigned to it. For example, pulling out from dives is very punishing on the joystick, because the force is extremely strong.
