Those Galebs and Super Galebs really have been the missile fodder of recent air to air combat.

Been there and done that on BOP:

"The fate of at least one J-21 Jastreb was not much better: sometime in 1997 one of the Serbian mercenaries, called Turcinovic, was killed while flying an ultra-low-level pass over Gbadolite and clipping a lamp post with his wing. The wreckage of his aircraft fell directly into a column of young soldiers on a parade, killing dozens of them. Turcinovic apparently fell victim to a massive liquor problem.[1]"

That's what the west does.

1.Blow a place up, or give the locals the means to blow it up themselves.

2.Offer to rebuild it "the only problem is our contractors see this as a dangerous country (for some reason nobody round here likes us) so they'll need paying 6x the normal rate... just sign here.."

3.Open a McDonalds.

4.Repeat till everyone hates you.

We should just cut straight to the chase and drop Big Macs on them instead of bombs.

I'm sorry but I cant leave this one go.if you want to make the analogy of mcdonalds and the recent influence of the 'west' in libya thats fine because we have to be vigalant.I am not ashamed to be a westener because of all the medical ,technalogical, and cultural contributions we have made.dont get me wrong there has been mistakes but i am not ashamed to be a westener.

It was a bit tounge in cheek, I could have said Starbucks or Tesco or any global retailer. As a joke, Mcdonalds worked better.

I'm not ashamed to be a westerner, I am ashamed of some of the things we've done for 'democracy' though, and I'm proud of some others.

I'm not anti American either.

As for Burger King, everyone knows that the aerodynamics of Whoppers are such that they don't make very good aerial ordinance, and are only suitable for 'carpet burgering' of large targets..

Plus chicken nuggets are much better as cluster bomb ammo rather than onion rings
