Default Anton read this thread please (cockpit priority)

I understand at this time nothing can be done about cockpits at launch , so here is my suggestion for DLC priority of the cockpits

These are the ones that should be knocked out first as soon as possible

-BF109
-FW190

And if time/money permits....

-Ju87 (with air siren effect in cockpit)

I understand this is a grate deal of work but you can save some of it by carrying over cockpits for different varients (In otherwords a BF109E3 will have the same cockpit as a BF109G6)

While not totally "realistic" its good enough and it gives even more cockpits for more planes without extra work.

BTW , An ideal price point for the cockpits (if they are not packaged with other content) should not be over 400 microsoft points.

If its too much people wont buy, but if there is extra content like gametypes then i would pay up to 800 points

thanks anton , cant wait to shoot your ass down

That's our priority and plan as well.
Bf109 and Fw190 - are topmost, than others, and yes, re-use where possible.

Regarding pricing - I am not the responsible for that and it is too early to discuss that, but actually currently it's being discussed of making cockpits as just 'additional' to one new plane and bunch of missions, or something like that.
So, the price could be higher - but it won't be just two cockpits then.
(BTW in Rise of the Flight, each plane is $7.5).
Plane is much harder to make, localize, test, and polish, than cockpits, but the reason is also clear -you can't make a lot of DLCs, that won't be accepted by platfromholders, and not very good for playing community as well.

thanks , totally understand!
only reason i added the Stuka is because it would balance out multiplayer attack and defend where bombers are needed

cool , BTW i cannot thank you enough for keeping in simulation mode , I understand why the testers probly didnt recieve it well , but they were only given brief time with it.

The mode shines once you advance in skill of flying

Totally, its stunning. Coming from someone who has NEVER played the original, its been a really fun challenge learning the flight model - learning to fly really. A thrill!

As far as the cockpits go, your reasons are valid and your continuing efforts to please the community are very appreciated. I agree with your team's commitment to historically accurate adversarial MP (axis vs allies) as opposed to a 12 allied plane free-for-all.

I can't wait to get in the air and get my ass shot off.... cheers.

P.s - Stuka sirens FTW

Would it be possible to give all the fighters placeholder cockpits like the P51 has in the demo? Even using the wrong cockpit would be better than not having one at all.

Really good idea ! This would make sim mode fair to all...with no superman view.

Anton.. any way this could be possible as a quick fix????

I´d like to see this.
Xbox Live and PSN downloads of the cockpits that are not present in the game, but maybe here is the solution:

- Make a poll about what models are more important for us, the users.
- Make, for example, 4 new cockpits (to test if the initiative is "viable").
- Put, for free, the number 4th in the poll.
- Put, for 200MS Points or 1,4€ the other tree cockpits.

I´d buy them, for sure. Independently if they are the ones I´d like more to have on my consoles.
