I had no idea but up until at least 1988 the Cosford Me-410 was started up......if only she was a flyer....imagine the sound of 2 whistling Daimlers.

That's very nice indeed. A little bit of work and it could be flying! (Compared to the amount of restoration work put into some aircraft).
I wouldn't mind a trip in the back seat.

understand what your saying Alpha,but the amount of money it takes to get certain airframes back into the air ,like the recent mossie etc im sure it would be a fraction of the re-build cost as its already there.I have no knowledge of these things apart fro a love of seeing these this fly.Im sure there would be probs with an "airframe"over 60 yrs of age taking to the skies etc but imagine it!!!
