what are the ideal video settings I should be using with my gpu(gtx560 ti SC 1 gb), I've seen some people with the same card as me running everything maximum settings, would love to see a screen shot of your video settings, please

I think u would benefit from raising your res to at least 1680x1050 instead. I use that and everything on medium with grass, roads etc. checked simply to get high fps without cutting back on graphics to much.
Got the same gpu and cpu as u. |

Im running everything high except land texture and land shading and forest medium, roads, shadows and grass on vsync on in control panel not ticked in game and AA 4x but I do run at 1680x1050 which is native to my old 22in runs very smooth over sea and most land, very minor stutters over London down low, if looking over the wing, av. about 20fps down low over London and 40+ in most other situations.
Also my card is the stock Asus card so it only has a slight OC, I havent OCed further yet but will probably bump it up a bit in the future if needed. Last edited by Tiger27; 06-22-2011 at 09:25 AM. |

Why you don't maximize texture? I tested a lot and have same performance with texture Original or High... What I put OFF now is forest... If I can't crash hitting trees I don't want that they block my vision in MP. No big hit in performance, but it's just eyecandy with some minor hit in FPS but big in MP gameplay.

I dont, I just use the global settings, with vsync forced on, then its turned off in CoD, it works fine this way.

Thanks for the tips gents, I will try these two things as well. From my side, removing the tick on SHADOWS, you have a big improvement in fps. ~S~ |
