Default After playing for say 10 minutes game freezes

After playing il2 storm of war for say 10 or 15 minute the game freezes

could this be down to insufficient memory or do I just need to bite the bullet and upgrade to a new pc ( if it`s just a matter of adding some memory to keep me going for now it will give me more time to save for an upgrade )

Is the forum you want for IL*2 Cliffs of Dover. This is the forum for IL*2 1946 (and earlier).

XP seems to be a problem, and you can't add more than 4GB (which you already have) without changing to a 64 bit O/S.

With that behaviour I'd suspect a too weak Power Supply Unit or a heating issue.
Try flying with case all open to see if you get a longer duration.

Not good at all... Windoze has a habit of losing it, if the system drive doesn't have enough free space. I'd leave a minimum of 20Gigs (100Gs is good) on C:

Besides the Virtual disk space, windoze opens a load of temporary files that it doesn't always delete..
